OKTAGON’s viral heavyweight star has lashed out at the promotion in the latest update on their conflict.
This past weekend at OKTAGON 76, Frederic Vosgröne moved to 5-0 with a first round finish over Fabio Moraes in Frankfurt, Germany.
His debut with the European promotion in April instantly made him one of the biggest names on their roster once the highlights hit social media.
Vosgröne’s comparisons to Brock Lesnar and Paddy Pimblett, and his aggressive fighting style, have made him a surprise breakout star in 2025.
However, his rise became much more complicated following what happened shortly after his big win on September 20.

Frederic Vosgröne calls for OKTAGON to release him after public dispute
Following his win, Frederic Vosgröne stormed out of the OKTAGON 76 post-fight press conference after slamming the promotion’s bosses.
OKTAGON have now provided a response to their fighter’s actions via social media.
The promotion notes that the fighter has treated people unfairly and harmed their reputations, detailing why they believe that his complaints aren’t justified and that they look forward to seeing him in Cologne.
Vosgröne’s response to this statement via his Instagram story doesn’t suggest that this will be the final chapter of this saga.
The heavyweight has made it clear that if OKTAGON feel so strongly about his conduct, it would be best for them to part ways so that he can explore other “bigger” options.
“If you feel disrespected by me than we should just part ways. I have many organizations that are much bigger wanting me to fight. So Ondrej Novotny [OKTAGON co-founder & owner], if you feel like you can’t treat me right, than just cancel my contract. But obviously you won’t do it and use it as leverage to pressure me.”

Frederic Vosgröne already stated that he will honor the OKTAGON fight that he accepted
In the final part of OKTAGON’s statement, the promotion writes that Frederic Vosgröne has already agreed to fighting in Cologne, which has also been confirmed by his management team.
Despite the issues that he has raised, Vosgröne has already stated that he would fight for the promotion again because fans are already excited about watching him compete in Cologne.
He confirmed on his YouTube channel that while he believes he has the backing of his supporters, he doesn’t want to let anyone down by not fighting.
It seems that at the very least, there will be one more potentially awkward chapter in the relationship between Vosgröne and OKTAGON.
