Paddy Pimblett, Brock Lesnar lookalike mauls fifth-straight opponent at OKTAGON 76

A viral MMA fighter stayed undefeated this weekend.

The MMA world can’t seem to get enough of Frederic Vosgröne, a light heavyweight prospect from Germany who looks like a combination of UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett and former UFC and WWE champion Brock Lesnar.

Nicknamed ‘The Neanderthal’, Vosgröne gained over half a million followers on Instagram since his viral OKTAGON debut in April, where he relentlessly dove and latched on to his opponent’s leg for a takedown prior to getting a submission.

In just his fifth pro fight, the social media sensation received the co-main event spotlight at OKTAGON 76 on Saturday in his home country.

Frederic Vosgröne improves to 5-0 with fifth-straight submission

Vosgröne met 7-1 Brazilian Fabio Moraes in Frankfurt, Germany.

Vosgröne had submitted his first four opponents inside of two rounds and Moraes would be no different.

After a successful takedown, Vosgröne secured full mount on Moraes and chipped away at him with ground and pound strikes.

With nowhere to go, Moraes gave up his back to Vosgröne, who landed more shots before sinking in a rear-naked choke.

Moraes tapped within a few seconds of the choke and Vosgröne stood back up, pretending to wipe dust off his shoulders.

‘Paddy Lesnar’… Fans react to Frederic Vosgröne staying undefeated

Whether it’s for his performance or looks, the fans had a lot to say about Vosgröne’s latest win.

Some fans suggested UFC next for the Paddy Pimblett and Brock Lesnar lookalike, while others criticize Vosgröne for how tired he looked over four minutes.

“PADDY LESNAR,” one fan wrote.

“THE REAL DEAL…”

“Kid absolutely sucks,” another fan wrote.

“I can’t wait till he starts fighting half decent fighters. He gassed out in the first round…”

“Needs to work on stamina,” another fan suggested.

“Get him in the UFC ASAP,” a fan said of the 5-0 prospect.
