Jon Jones is currently looking to earn a spot at the White House despite Dana White’s concerns about having him compete at the event.
This past July, following his comeback reveal, ‘Bones’ crossed paths with a boxing legend that also knows a thing or two about competing at the highest level under the brightest lights.
Jones was in attendance for the 2025 ESPYS, where he shared a wholesome moment with the former five-weight world champion, Sugar Ray Leonard.
As one of the iconic ‘Four Kings’, Leonard went through some gruelling battles during his pro career that lasted 20 years from 1977 to 1997.
The North Carolina native hasn’t been significantly slowed down by his memorable battles against the likes of Thomas Hearns, Marvin Hagler and Roberto Duran, as he proved to Jones.
‘Bones’ labelled Leonard “the GOAT” after receiving first-hand experience of the quickfire body shots that the 69-year-old still has in his arsenal.
