Jimmy Fallon mocks UFC’s White House plans during The Tonight Show after Dana White shares first images

Jimmy Fallon mocked the UFC’s ambitious plans for a one-of-a-kind event at the White House.

Dana White recently gave fans a look at what they can expect from the event by sharing visual renderings of the promotion’s plans.

While many of the visuals showed details that had already been publicly spoken about, they were certainly very grand and elaborate.

That’s not surprising considering the magnitude of such an event, which will seemingly feature the long-awaited return of Conor McGregor.

Such a noteworthy occasion was always going to attract the attention of people who don’t usually engage with MMA, as was the case during a recent episode of The Tonight Show.

Jimmy Fallon makes fun of the early visuals that were released for the UFC White House event

There’s still a long way to go before the UFC White House event takes place, with Dana White recently revealing when he’ll start booking fights.

White has already said a lot about his plans, and while they could still change, the visual renderings have given people the opportunity to share their thoughts.

Late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon did just that during a recent episode of The Tonight Show on ESPN.

In his monologue, the UFC’s plans became one of the news stories that was picked up by Fallon.

“Hey, did you guys see this? Dana White just released the first renderings of the UFC fight being planned for next summer at the White House, take a look at this.”

While the images were shown on screen, Fallon mocked the initial designs that have been drawn up for this spectacle.

“Wow. I was afraid it would look ridiculous. Oh my god.”

Jon Jones told why Dana White no longer trusts him to compete at the White House

While Conor McGregor has already shared his prediction for how his fight at the White House will play out, there’s another major star that is still trying to convince the UFC to put him on the card.

Dana White has been very open about not trusting Jon Jones enough to have the consensus greatest of all time make the walk in the capital.

On a recent episode of his MMArcade Podcast, former UFC champion Robert Whittaker claimed that he believes this is due to the way he handled the final few months of his career before announcing his retirement.

“That whole length of time of inactivity, and holding up the division, and keeping [Tom] Aspinall on the sidelines, it was a bit much. Not only that…the way he was acting about it, the way he was saying what he was doing — he was flaunting the power he had.

“I think that’s where he stretched the trust factor with the bosses,”
