Maraji Johnson, also known as, Death Sentence, is set to venture outside of the promotion where he made his name.
In recent months, fans have become invested in the career of viral street fighter Death Sentence.
UFC legend Demetrious Johnson helped Death Sentence earn his first win in popular amateur fighting promotion Streetbeefs earlier this year.
Despite his lack of experience, the charismatic personality has never been afraid to call fighters out, whether they’re rivals of his or some of the biggest names in the sport.
Death Sentence’s pitch to Jon Jones may not have been answered, but his next fight will see him compete against a cult legend of the sport.

Death Sentence booked to face Charles ‘Krazy Horse’ Bennett in ‘The Wheel of Violence’
While Death Sentence suffered a defeat shortly after breaking his losing streak, his next fight shows that his popularity is only continuing to grow.
October 17 sees Full Metal Dojo bring their ‘Fight Circus’ event to the Palms Casino in Las Vegas.
For fans who are unfamiliar with the promotion, the cards often feature notable names, cult heroes, and other celebrities competing against each other in bizarre rulesets.
For example, in 2023, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson and Bob Sapp won a ‘Siamese boxing’ match where both men were joined by one oversized T-shirt.
Fight Circus recently announced that later this month, Death Sentence will be facing Charles ‘Krazy Horse’ Bennett in a ‘Wheel of Violence’ contest.
The 45-year-old Bennett will be familiar to a lot of fight fans, with 80 professional MMA bouts to his name, having competed for promotions like Pride and BKFC in the past.
After seeing the announcement, fans raised their concerns about Death Sentence’s chances.
‘Okay guys he might actually get hurt seriously’
‘Please don’t kill this man.’
‘Nah Krazy Horse gonna kill him.’
‘Naw this ain’t a fair match.’
‘This is so wrong.’
‘Krazy Horse finna beat the breaks off him not even in a funny way.’
‘Rip Death Sentence.’
It’s worth noting that as several replies pointed out, ‘The Wheel of Violence’ stipulation means that this bout will likely take place in a unique ruleset, like only using your legs with 90-second rounds, for example.

One of the other bouts will see two of the stars of Jacka– Forever, Zach Holmes and Sean ‘Poopies’ McInerney, compete in ‘The Ultimate D— Kicking Championships’.
Other names listed for the event include Mark Coleman, Matt Brown, Marcus McGhee, Alex Caceres and Gabi Garcia.
The full card will be announced via Fight Circus’ various social media platforms at a later date.
