Nate Diaz got his first boxing win by edging out a split decision against Jorge Masvidal in July 2024.
A year later, the 40-year-old is still on the sidelines looking for a worthwhile opponent to fight next.

Nate Diaz calls out Terence Crawford
Terence Crawford became the face of boxing by beating Canelo Alvarez on Saturday night.
The new undisputed super middleweight champion is widely regarded as boxing’s pound-for-pound best.
It’s clear to everyone that it would be a mismatch if Crawford stepped into the ring with the MMA veteran.
Still, that didn’t stop Diaz from calling for a shot at the five-weight boxing world champion.
“Crawford next,” he tweeted.
‘Fans took to the comment section to let Diaz know that they think he’s crazy for chasing that fight.
“Delusional,” one fan said. While another added: “Quit playing.”
“You might die,” a third fan commented.
“You couldn’t even beat Jake Paul, brother,” someone else pointed out.
“I want what you smoking now,” another person joked.
“So dumb lol,” a sixth fan wrote.
Terence Crawford to consider retirement
Terence Crawford has achieved everything any young boxer could hope for in the sport.
After stretching his perfect record to 42-0, ‘Bud’ answered a question about retirement.
Boxing analyst Max Kellerman asked him if fans had just witnessed the final fight of his career.
“I don’t know,” Crawford replied.
“I gotta sit down with my team and we’ll talk about it.”
