Huge new UFC signing reportedly set to debut next month against legendary former champion

It looks like the UFC’s return to Paris next month is set to receive a huge addition to the card.

Following Dricus du Plessis’ matchup with Khamzat Chimaev this weekend at UFC 319 where the middleweight title is on the line, another big fight at 185 pounds will take place several weeks later.

Nassourdine Imavov or Caio Borralho could emerge as the next contender in line for the winner of this weekend’s main event when they meet at the Accor Arena in Paris.

With a huge lightweight bout also taking place between Benoit Saint Denis and Mauricio Ruffy, the card already looked complete.

However, with the UFC recently signing the hottest free agent in the sport, the promotion has reportedly made some adjustments.

Losene Keita reportedly set to debut against Patricio Pitbull at UFC Paris

On Friday, Losene Keita confirmed that he has signed with the UFC, getting fans excited about the prospect of seeing him compete inside the Octagon.

The 16-1 former OKTAGON fighter, whose only loss was due to an injury, achieved success in his former promotion’s featherweight and lightweight divisions.

With it already being confirmed that ‘Black Panther’ will be a big addition to the UFC’s 145-pound division, it has now been reported that fans won’t have to wait too long to see him in action.

Following initial reports from Maitres Fumiers on Instagram, Al Zullino confirmed with multiple sources that Keita will face off with Patricio Pitbull at UFC Paris.

This will be the former Bellator star’s third UFC fight of the year after he signed to the promotion earlier this year.

Pitbull bounced back from a debut loss to Yair Rodriguez at UFC 314 by beating Dan Ige via unanimous decision last month at UFC 318 in New Orleans.

Another huge signing that fans have been calling for is set to debut later today at UFC 319

In recent years, the UFC has brought in some big signings, with Losene Keita being the latest to join this list.

Many of the promotion’s exciting additions have come via fighters leaving Bellator, with the likes of Patricio Pitbull and Patchy Mix stepping inside the Octagon.

Later today, a fighter that fans have wanted to see compete under the UFC banner for a long time will make the walk when Aaron Pico competes in the co-main event of UFC 319.

Beating Lerone Murphy won’t be an easy task, but if the former Bellator star is able to get his hand raised, he could instantly earn himself a title shot at featherweight.
