Aung La N Sang is the greatest Myanmar fighter of all time.
The former ONE middleweight and light heavyweight champion is set to go into the ONE Championship Hall of Fame following a stellar 47-fight MMA career.
Kill Cliff FC’s Aung La N Sang went 16-6 in ONE Championship and fought the likes of Reinier de Ridder (x2), Vitaly Bigdash (x3), Brandon Vera, Uriah Hall, Yushin Okami, and Gilberto Galvão.
He had four successful title defenses across two divisions.
Aung La N Sang made the walk for his retirement fight at ONE Fight Night 36, where he secured his 29th career finish in vintage fashion.

Aung La N Sang met Zebaztian Kadestam in Friday’s co-main event in Bangkok, Thailand.
Coming off back-to-back losses, the 40-year-old Aung La N Sang turned back the clock with his first knockout in two years.
Aung La N Sang blitzed Kadestam for the TKO finish in two rounds, sending him down to the ground with punches.
That’s KO #16 for ‘The Burmese Python’, who earned a $50,000 performance bonus.
Post-fight, Aung La N Sang announced his retirement and put the ONE Championship gloves in the ring.
Myanmar’s Joshua Van is on the verge of a UFC title
Carrying the torch for Myanmar MMA is Joshua Van, the #1 contender in the UFC flyweight division.
The 23-year-old Van made his case for a title fight after he dropped the previous #1 contender in Brandon Royval en route to a decision win at UFC 317.
Later in the night, Van faced off with Alexandre Pantoja in the Octagon after he defended his title against Kai Kara-France, setting up a future fight.
Van is riding a five-fight win streak and is Myanmar’s and 4oz. Fight Club’s best hope for a UFC title.
