‘Middleweight Francis Ngannou’ ragdolls last-minute replacement for third UFC KO at 23

The UFC 320 prelims ended in devastating fashion.

Two UFC title fights headline Las Vegas this weekend as Alex Pereira rematches light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev in the main event. Bantamweight gold is on the line in the co-main event between defending champion Merab Dvalishvili and top contender Cory Sandhagen.

The undercard featured the return of 23-year-old knockout artist Ateba Gautier, a Cameroonian prospect who has been compared to countryman, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.

Similar to ‘The Predator’, Gautier has left a trail of bodies early into his UFC run, claiming his latest victim at UFC 320.

Ateba Gautier knocks out Tre’ston Vines to close out UFC 320 prelims

Gautier has yet to enter the second round in his UFC career.

Gautier made quick work of short notice replacement Tre’ston Vines, spoiling his UFC debut in less than two minutes.

Vines tried to clinch the heavy-handed Gautier against the cage, but was overpowered by the Cameroonian, who landed elbows and threw him aside to the ground.

With his back against the cage, Vines took massive ground and pound shots from Gautier before the referee stopped the contest.

Joe Rogan reacts to Ateba Gautier’s ‘terrifying’ KO

Gautier is now a perfect 3-0 in the UFC.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan raved about his performance.

“Look at how he just threw him off,” Rogan said of Gautier’s knockout.

“He just tightened his elbows together around his neck and ragdolled him.

“This guy is terrifying,” Rogan added.

“Vines is hurt so bad he can’t even get up,” UFC commentator Daniel Cormier added.
