A scary moment at the UFC 320 weigh-ins led to concerns about the co-main event.
After Merab Dvalishvili came face-to-face with Cory Sandhagen ahead of Saturday night, there was only more step that both men needed to take ahead of Saturday night.
‘The Machine’ is set to defend his bantamweight title for the third time this year at the T-Mobile Arena on October 4.
Many are expecting to see Dvalishvili emerge victorious despite the threat that his next challenger poses, though it looked like there might be some difficulties before fight night gets underway.

Merab Dvalishvili makes weight after several delays caused concerns at the UFC 320 weigh-ins
Some believe that Merab Dvalishvili is already the greatest bantamweight of all time ahead of his third title defense.
While a win on Saturday night would only further this case, there was a worry at the weigh-ins that something could stop the fight from happening.
There appeared to be some kind of issue with the Nevada State Athletic Commission taking a long time to read Dvalishvili’s weight once he was on the scale.
‘The Machine’ was asked to step back before getting back on the scale while the long wait to find out the result caused some nervous reactions from those watching live.
After another delay, the curtain was brought out for Dvalishvili so that he could strip down, only for his weight to be declared as 135 pounds on the dot moments later.
Cory Sandhagen, who stepped on the scale before his opponent, weighed in at 134.5, making the co-main event official early on in the weigh-in period.
Both title fights are official for UFC 320, with one other bout being moved to a catchweight and one weight miss
Fortunately for fight fans, the future of the two title fights that are set to take place this Saturday became clear right at the start of the weigh-in period.
Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira both hit the light heavyweight mark for their main event rematch on October 4.
There was only one fighter who missed the mark, Macy Chiasson, who initially came in at 138 pounds for her bantamweight matchup with Yana Santos.
After stepping behind the curtain, Chiasson hit 137.5 pounds, meaning that she now has an hour to drop down to 136.
A significant change was made to Daniel Santos’ featherweight matchup with Yoo Joo-Sang, which will now take place at a catchweight of 153 pounds.
Santos came in at 151, while his opponent stepped on the scales at 152.5 pounds.
It hasn’t been revealed at this time why the fight was moved from 145 pounds on such short notice.
