Manny Pacquiao has announced he’s taking his promotional company stateside.
Originally established in 2006 as MP Promotions, the boxing legend’s outlet has now been rebranded as Manny Pacquiao Promotions (MPP) ahead of a move into the US market.
The 46-year-old hopes to guide a new generation of fighters to success in the country that made him a superstar.
Manny Pacquiao spoke about his desire to give back to the sport in a press release that confirmed his huge career move.

Manny Pacquiao becomes US boxing promoter
Manny Pacquiao’s long-time advisor, Sean Gibbons, is set to serve as the President of MPP.
“It is an honour to bring Manny Pacquiao Promotions to the U.S.,” the Filipino boxing icon said.
“Some of my most unforgettable moments happened inside American rings.
“Now, I want to help create those same moments for today’s fighters.
“Through talent-stacked events and an elite platform, we’ll showcase the rising stars and seasoned warriors ready to capture the world’s attention.”
Pacquiao’s move into the US boxing market makes him a direct rival of UFC boss Dana White.
The MMA mogul’s Zuffa Boxing has just signed a deal with Paramount ahead of its 2026 debut.
White has a revolutionary plan to break down the sport he believes has been broken for years.
Pacquiao joins Eddie Hearn, Frank Warren, and Bob Arum, who will try to stop the UFC’s CEO from dominating boxing in the same way he dominates MMA.
Manny Pacquiao’s next fight
Manny Pacquiao ended his four-year boxing retirement when he fought Mario Barrios in July.
Pacquiao’s comeback was marred by controversy when the judges scored his WBC welterweight title bout a majority draw.
The 46-year-old is now eyeing a new boxing record after honing in on an opponent for his next fight.
According to Sean Gibbons, Pacquiao wants to face WBA welterweight champion Rolly Romero and win back the belt he claimed by beating Keith Thurman to become the oldest 147lb champion of all time in 2019.
“The goal is still the same,” Gibbons told World Boxing News. “
“The goal remains to break his own record, to make history, to win a welterweight title.
“He wants to be the oldest person to do it at 47 years old. Rolly Romero has the WBA belt, so he is the target.”
