David Feldman and Conor McGregor share ‘exhilarating’ update on BKFC video game

David Feldman and Conor McGregor want to take BKFC to the next level.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is one of the world’s fastest growing sports promotions, seeing a massive rise in popularity since its inception in 2018.

Things have only picked up for the bare knuckle boxing promotion since Conor McGregor became a BKFC part-owner in 2024, with the UFC superstar in Newark, New Jersey to promote BKFC 82 this weekend.

Some fighters like 35-fight UFC veteran Jeremy Stephens argue that BKFC is more violent than the UFC, which has had multiple video game titles over the years.

As the BKFC continues to gain momentum, one has to wonder when ‘the alien of combat sports’ will get their own video game.

David Feldman and Conor McGregor to ink contract for BKFC video game next week

On Wednesday, BKFC boss David Feldman and McGregor were asked about the status of a BKFC video game.

“We’re already in talks,” Feldman told Bloody Elbow at the BKFC 82 media roundtable.

“We’re actually about to go into contract with that,” Feldman added.

“Conor and I are gonna look it over next week, and we’re gonna ink that up.

“I think it has to happen right now,” Feldman said of a BKFC video game.

“Everybody’s excited about it, and it’s gonna be just as exciting on the video game as it is in the arena.”

McGregor says a video game is just one of the many things BKFC is working on. A reality TV show could be in the works as well.

“The conversations and the plans we have are exhilarating,” McGregor said after Feldman.

“That is the motto of Bare Knuckle. Shock, awe, excite. And that is what we are about,” McGregor added.

Full fight card revealed for BKFC 82 this weekend

BKFC 82 on Saturday features a number of former UFC fighters.

This weekend’s headliners Mike Perry and Jeremy Stephens have a combined 50 fights in the Octagon. They fight for the ‘King of Violence’ title.

The inaugural ‘Queen of Violence’ title is on the line between champions Christine Ferea and Jessica Borga.

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar was initially scheduled to face Jimmie Rivera before he was forced off the card on Wednesday. Rivera will now fight Montana’s Timmy Mason.

Former UFC fighters Oluwale Bamgbose and Karl Roberson also collide on the undercard.
