Dana White has finally answered a question about his proposed plan for the Muhammad Ali Act.
The federal law has been in effect for over 25 years and seeks to protect the rights and welfare of boxers.
Rumors about Dana White trying to alter the Muhammad Ali Act have been swirling ever since he launched his boxing league in March.
Earlier this month, the UFC CEO clashed with a reporter who tried and failed to find out what his plan for the act was ahead of Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford.

Dana White reveals his plan for the Muhammad Ali Act
Dana White insists he will not make any amendments to the Muhammad Ali Act after entering boxing.
The UFC boss wants to create a new version that will run alongside the one that already exists.
“Let’s be clear, there will be zero changes to the Muhammad Ali Act,” White told CBS Sports.
“Not one word will be changed in the Muhammad Ali Act. We’re gonna add onto it.
“So, the fighters who want to fight under the Muhammad Ali Act exactly how it is will have the opportunity to do that. Or you can bet on me and fight with me under our version of the Muhammad Ali Act.
“That thing has been blown a lot out of proportion, and I get it. I knew people were going to freak out because that’s what people do.”
“No, but we’re doing it,” White added when asked if he needed to add onto the act before hosting his first Zuffa Boxing show in 2026.
“Listen, the Muhammad Ali Act was put into place with all good intentions, but I think it’s held the business back.
“All these guys that have been involved in boxing for a long time, the promoters, they don’t think big enough. I think much bigger than any of them do, no matter how bad they wanna compete with me.”
