IShowSpeed pleaded with Jon Jones to teach him how to fight after a humiliating night at the UFC Performance Institute.
Beloved streamer Speed was embarrassed in the cage last night as he was forced to tap out three times by Vanessa Demopoulos; a strawweight currently on a three-fight skid. The former dancer is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and showed ‘Speed’ the levels to grappling.
The following day, he packed his bags and headed to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the next stop on his country-wide tour. There, Speed met with Jones for a collaboration, and begged the former two-weight UFC champion to help with his fighting skills.
IShowSpeed wants to learn to fight from Jon Jones
Immediately once IShowSpeed showed up to meet Jon Jones, the pair got into a fighting stance and faced off in a comical manner. The UFC legend joked that “I heard you’ve got a left hook, but I also heard you got tapped out by one of the women at the UFC.”
The pair quickly struck up something of a friendship, heading to watch a football game as fans mobbed them looking for photos and autographs. As they were walking into the stadium, Speed could be heard on his stream demanding: “Hey you got to teach me how to fight bro.”
Jones noted that he had seen Speed’s boxing footage and he would ‘absolutely’ love to help the streamer out. But he couldn’t resist another jab, telling him something that couldn’t be heard on camera about ‘the next time he fights a stripper’.
IShowSpeed was made to tap out three times by former stripper
During his time in Las Vegas on his last tour stop, IShowSpeed stepped into the cage with Caio Borralho and Vanessa Demopoulos. The ‘Little Monster’ showed her extensive skills as she forced him to tap three times, and even had to guarantee “I won’t hurt him” as she dominated their exchanges.
The social media star is something of an underrated athlete in his own right, scoring multiple victories over professionals in various challenges over the years. However, his effort at fighting with a black belt didn’t go as planned.
Speed opted to go for just sparring with Demopoulos, who is currently on a three-fight skid inside the octagon. It didn’t take her long to get him down and lock in a variation of a triangle choke for submission number one.
She then looked for a leg lock, but was warned against going too hard. Afterwards, she showed him how easily she can pull guard and almost made him tap out while he was standing with her in his arms. She also got him in a head-and-arm choke and an arm bar to finish it all off.
