Jake Paul has once more come under fire from another boxing icon ahead of his mismatch clash with Gervonta Davis later this year.
Drawing criticizm en masse, it seems amid his slated showdown with WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in October, the polarizing Jake Paul will clash with the Baltimore star in an exhibition outing.
And forcing some holdups in the lightweight division as a result, Paul also put the brakes on a potential heavyweight super fight with Anthony Joshua, too, with the Watford star now reverting to the drawing board for his own return.
The latest exhibition attraction from Paul has drawn even more criticizm from a former world champion to boot, who branded him a bully amid the massive size difference between him and Davis.

Carl Froch labels Jake Paul a boxing ‘bully’
A rather vocal rival of Paul during the Ohio native’s brief career in the sport, former WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch has now taken aim at the influencer’s pairing with ‘Tank’.
Himself linked with his own staggering crossover return to boxing to take on UFC alum Darren Till, Froch has taken sizable issue with the weight discrepancy between Paul and Davis.
Ripping his boxing skills and ability, too, Froch referred to Paul as The Simpsons antagonist, Sideshow Bob, in a comical rant.
“All I can say about Jake Paul fighting somebody half his size is, he’s a f—— bully,” Froch said on his YouTube channel. “It’s just, it’s just wrong — I know he can’t fight.
“…He’s gone from Krusty the Clown to Sideshow Bob,” Froch said of Paul. “He’s getting worse, do you know what I mean? This is a guy who is just taking the p— out of the sport. And I don’t think this [fight with Davis] has gained much interest.”
Jake Paul challenged to huge MMA debut fight
In the midst of a rather controversial run in pro boxing, two years ago, Paul had inked terms to compete in mixed martial arts under the banner of the PFL.
However, yet to make good on his first-ever outing in the cage, Paul had been offered a route to another form of combat sports this week by a record-breaking heavyweight icon.
