UFC Perth has lost a fight just 48 hours before the event is due to go down in Australia.
Light heavyweight contenders Carlos Ulberg and Dominick Reyes will headline the UFC’s return to the RAC Arena.
Before that, 13 fights featuring lots of local talent were set to go down at UFC Perth.
Unfortunately, one of the matchups has fallen through after one of the fighters fell ill.

Oban Elliott is out of UFC Perth
British fan favorite Oban Elliott traveled across the world to face Jonathan Micallef on Saturday night.
On Thursday, the UFC issued a statement confirming their fight had been called off at the last minute.
“Due to illness, Oban Elliott has been removed from his welterweight bout with Jonathan Micallef. As a result, this bout has been cancelled,” the UFC said.
A late-replacement opponent will not be called up, so Jonathan Micallef is no longer fighting at UFC Perth.
The light heavyweight bout between Junior Tafa and Ibo Aslan was also cancelled due to an injury.
These fallouts have weakened the already weak card. UFC Perth was already experiencing poor ticket sales that had led to one Australian news channel predicting the venue would only be ‘half full’ on fight night.
