Former UFC star Josh Thomson has some thoughts about Ronda Rousey’s potential comeback.
‘Rowdy’ retired from MMA after being knocked out in 48 seconds by Amanda Nunes in December 2016.
Almost a decade later, fans think Ronda Rousey is training for a comeback after watching her recent training sessions on social media.
The 38-year-old recently admitted she’s ‘finding love’ for fighting again to spark UFC return rumors.

Ronda Rousey tipped to link-up with Jake Paul
‘Big’ John McCarthy recently dropped details about Ronda Rousey’s potential comeback.
The legendary referee claims it’s really happening, though it may not take place inside the UFC Octagon.
“I have been talking to certain people, and I have been told that she will be coming back. I have been told who her opponent is, but I can’t say,” McCarthy said on the ‘WEIGHING IN’ podcast he shares with Josh Thomson.
“From what I’m understanding, I’m not too sure she’s still under contract with the UFC… I’m not saying that she will not end up fighting with the UFC for this fight, but it’s very possible it could be outside of the UFC.”
The only fighter who has KO’d Nate Diaz shared a prediction after learning about Rousey potentially being a free agent.
“If she’s not under contract with the UFC, I’m going to call it here first,” Thomson said.
“Because she was with the WWE, because she probably has some sort of relationship with Logan and Jake Paul, I would say she would probably fight on one of Jake Paul’s cards. Or Jake Paul would promote her against whoever.”
Ronda Rousey rules out UFC White House comeback
Kayla Harrison says she’s set to face a ‘special’ opponent on the UFC White House card in June 2026.
Amanda Nunes was ruled out because the Brazilian legend and Harrison will clash for bantamweight gold before 2025 is over.
Rousey seemed like the only other female fighter who could get Harrison so excited.
However, Rousey has since ruled out fighting at the White House in a comeback update.
“I am not fighting at the White House,” she said earlier this month.
“After Mike Tyson being the biggest fight of the year, you never say never.
“But I ain’t fighting at the f—-ing White House.
“Even if offered? I got better s— to do. My kid needs pasta!”
