Dominick Reyes has a preference on who wins the UFC 320 main event.
The UFC Light Heavyweight title is on the line for a second time this year between champion Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira.
In his fourth title defense in less than a year, Pereira lost the belt to Ankalaev by unanimous decision in the main event of UFC 313 back in March.
Now, ‘Poatan’ looks to get it back in their rematch at UFC 320 on Oct. 4 in Las Vegas.
Ahead of the next title fight, there is a potential title eliminator going on this weekend between top contenders Carlos Ulberg and Dominick Reyes.
Reyes has already challenged for the title twice, once against Jon Jones and the other against Jan Blachowicz, but a third title opportunity could present itself to Reyes, with a win at UFC Perth on Saturday.

Dominick Reyes prefers Magomed Ankalaev over Alex Pereira at UFC 320
Speaking on The Brian Campbell Experience, Reyes was asked who he’d prefer to fight between Ankalaev and Pereira prior to their rematch at UFC 320.
“Well, the only reason I’d want to fight Ankalaev is because I’m friends with Pereira, right?” Reyes answered.
“I did a full camp with him,” Reyes added.
Reyes trained with Pereira in the lead-up to their fights at UFC 281 in 2022.
“He’s actually my friend,” Reyes said of Pereira.
“So it’s like, I’d rather not fight my people. I’d rather fight Ankalaev.
“But then that would cause Alex to not be the champ, so it’s kind of a double-edged sword there,” Reyes admitted.
“But just for the mere fact that I’d rather fight somebody who isn’t my friend, I mean, that’s why I would prefer Ankalaev to win…”
Dominick Reyes’ comeback tour continues at UFC Perth
After Reyes lost a controversial decision to Jon Jones in 2020, he went on a losing skid with three KO losses in a row.
On the verge of being cut by the UFC, Reyes turned his career around with three straight knockouts over Dustin Jacoby, Anthony Smith, and Nikita Krylov.
Reyes has the chance to make it four in a row when he meets the #3-ranked Carlos Ulberg in the five-round main event of UFC Perth this weekend.
Ulberg is coming off a decision win in March over Jan Blachowicz, a former champion who Reyes has lost to. The 34-year-old is currently on an eight-fight win streak.
