After an incredible week of action on the latest episode of Dana White’s Contender Series, episode 8 has a big act to follow on September 30.
Dana White handed out six contracts on the last episode of the show, including to a former ring girl who has made the transition into fighting in the octagon.
Numerous fighters have earned a contract with the UFC since the show began eight weeks ago, including a controversial former NFL player who is turning heads in the world of MMA.
While this week’s cohort seems more down-to-earth, there are still some impressive fighters to look out for on Dana White’s Contender Series.

1. Paulo da Silva
Brazilian prospect Paulo da Silva looks likely to pick up a win on this week’s episode of Dana White’s Contender Series, as he takes on a fighter without a win in their career.
Da Silva looks like one of the top young fighters on this year’s series, boasting 11 wins and just 1 loss in his career so far, despite being only 23 years old.
“PH” is a specialist in making his opponents tap out, as all of those victories have come through various painful submission holds in the octagon.
His opponent is Rashid Vagabov, a fighter with just one fight (a loss) to his name, who should be easy pickings for da Silva.
2. Kurtis Campbell
Another fighter expected to beat his inexperienced opponent is Kurtis Campbell, the English Featherweight who walks into Las Vegas with a perfect record to defend.
Nicknamed “The Pink Panther”, Campbell has won all 7 of his professional fights, mainly via knockout, as only two of his fights have ended in decision.
The Englishman looks like one to beat on this week’s Dana White’s Contender Series, with his opponent looking unlikely to pick up a shock win on Tuesday.
Demba Sack has only had one professional fight so far. While it ended in victory, it may be too soon for his UFC journey to start with a contract from White.
3. Christopher Alvidrez
One of the most interesting fights on the card is the battle between Christopher Alvidrez and Eliezer Kubanza, although we think the American will just about eke past his shorter opponent to win the UFC deal.
Alvidrez is two inches taller than Kubanza, and even a small advantage at this level can make all the difference.
He is a knockout artist with huge power in his gloves, landing first-round KOs in his last four fights, with a fifth one almost guaranteeing him a UFC contract in Las Vegas.
4. Magno Dias
The Bantamweight contest features two impressive fighters, but Magno Dias looks poised to impress against Louis Jourdain.
Being nicknamed “The Violence” says it all, really. The Brazilian is part of the Fighting Nerds team, training alongside UFC stars like Carlos Prates and Jean Silva to become a top fighter with UFC ambitions.
The Brazilian could be one for the future, given the incredible success of his teammates in recent years.
While Jourdain has a better record going into this bout, expect Dias to bring the violence in the octagon to earn himself a UFC contract.
5. Vitor Costa
The main event of episode 8 of Dana White’s Contender Series features two impressive Middleweight fighters who look like future stars in the UFC.
Vitor Costa is an 8-1 Brazilian, while Damian Pinas is a 7-1 Aruban, with very little to separate these two hopefuls in the UFC APEX.
However, Costa has proved his talent as a champion in Jungle Fight, landing 4 round 1 finishes in a row in his last 4 fights, with a mixture of knockout blows and guillotine submissions.
He should be too much for Pinas to handle and earn himself a deal with Dana White on an exciting episode of the Contender Series
