Brock Lesnar lookalike addresses if he’ll fight in OKTAGON again after storming out of presser

We may not have seen the last of Frederic Vosgröne in OKTAGON MMA.

A relative unknown just two fights ago, Germany’s Vosgröne has become one of most viral prospects in the sport today.

The undefeated light heavyweight fighter has gained over half a million followers in the last several months, with many fans claiming Vosgröne looks like a combination of former UFC and WWE champion Brock Lesnar and UFC lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett.

The German improved his record to 5-0 as a pro on Saturday, as Vosgröne submitted his fifth-straight opponent in the opening round at OKTAGON 76

Vosgröne wasn’t too happy with his promoters at the post-fight press conference, however. The Brock Lesnar lookalike put OKTAGON on blast, saying he didn’t know if he’d fight again in an organization ‘that treats me like s— every time’.

Days after walking out of the press conference, Vosgröne has addressed his fighting future.

Frederic Vosgröne says he’ll be fighting in OKTAGON on Oct. 18

Immediately following his win, there were talks of Vosgröne making a quick turnaround at OKTAGON 78 in Cologne, Germany, on Oct. 18.

Despite his issues with OKTAGON, one of them being the promotion not giving water to his girlfriend, Vosgröne tells his fans he’ll fight for them once again under the OKTAGON banner.

“What’s happening in Cologne?” Vosgröne said in German.

“Will I fight there? Yes or no?

“Short answer: Yes, I will fight,” Vosgröne confirmed on his YouTube channel.

“But the only reason I’ll fight, the only reason, is because with Oktagon, nothing has been clarified.

“I also won’t talk about what exactly happened, because honestly, that’s at least 30 different things. Too many to even list with my coach, my girlfriend, my family… just too much.

“But since you, my fans, my wonderful fans, are already excited about the fight in Cologne, and so many of you have already bought tickets…

“I’ve gotten lots of messages from people telling me, ‘Yes, we’re behind you when it comes to OKTAGON. We’ve already bought our tickets.’

“It would be a shame if I didn’t fight,” Vosgröne added.

“I do all of this really just for my fans, my wonderful fans, who have supported me so greatly. That’s why I want to give you what you want. So yes, I’ll definitely fight in Cologne. After that we’ll see.

“You can look forward to the fight, I’ll handle everything else with OKTAGON. Stay tuned,” said Vosgröne.

Frederic Vosgröne met Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Emily Blunt

The submission machine recently met the stars of the new MMA movie, ‘The Smashing Machine’.

‘The Smashing Machine’ follows the story of UFC Hall of Famer Mark Kerr, played by WWE superstar-turned-actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

‘The Rock’ as well as Emily Blunt, who plays his onscreen girlfriend Dawn Staples, recently took a photo with Vosgröne inside an MMA cage.

Vosgröne saw the stars while they were in Berlin, Germany for a movie premiere.

“Sorry for flexing so much,” Vosgröne said of meeting the actors.
