While ‘The Notorious’ hasn’t fought in several years, the appetite for his return remains rife amongst fans.
Brendan Schaub has pitched three opponents for McGregor to potentially face on the UFC White House card.
And according to the Dubliner’s friend, a return on that date is looking increasingly likely.

David Feldman is blown away by how well Conor McGregor is doing.
The President of BKFC believes the Irishman is about to make a massive splash inside the octagon.
In an interview with MMA Fighting, Feldman said: “I think he’s very serious about what he’s doing with his comeback fight. He’s going to do that fight unless something crazy off-the-wall happens.
“This is truly the best Conor McGregor I’ve seen. I haven’t known him forever, but I’ve known him for two years, and this is the best I’ve ever seen him. He’s focused and training.
“We’ve had some conversations. I said, ‘You’re the biggest legend that ever hit the fight game, really, almost. Let’s get back in there’.
“He’s doing everything that I think a fighter should be doing at this point. He’s got a long time to go before that July 4 card next year.
“If he can maintain his focus, which I have no reason to believe he won’t, he’s got a good shot of being the old Conor McGregor.”
