Fans float theory after Ronda Rousey rediscovers ‘love’ for MMA and sparks UFC comeback rumors

Some fans are convinced that Ronda Rousey is preparing to make her MMA comeback.

The former UFC bantamweight champion quit the sport after a 48-second knockout loss to Amanda Nunes in December 2016.

Almost a decade later, Ronda Rousey recently claimed she’s ‘finding love’ for MMA again.

‘Rowdy’ has been using combat sports training to get back in shape after giving birth to her second child, which has sparked rumors about a potential UFC comeback.

Fans share Ronda Rousey theory

Ronda Rousey’s recent social media activity has fans theorizing about her return to the Octagon.

One group of people are convinced the 38-year-old will fight at the UFC White House card next June.

“She wants that White House card,” one fan said. While another added: “So she’s probably been offered a bag for the White House card then I’m guessing?”

“That’s why,” someone else wrote alongside an image of the White House.

“Translation. Dana offered me a ton to fight at the White House,” a fourth X user wrote.

“Ronda returning for the WH gig would be bigger than Conor McGregor,” another person tweeted.

“That White House card really made people rediscover their passion for MMA,” a sixth fan noted.

Ronda Rousey comments on UFC White House rumor

Kayla Harrison sparked a rumor that she could fight Ronda Rousey on the UFC White House card.

The UFC bantamweight champion teased a ‘special’ opponent – not Amanda Nunes – for the Independence Day event. In the eyes of many, there’s only one other female MMA fighter who warrants being branded in such a way.

Rousey refused to rule out an MMA comeback while reacting to a rumor she’ll fight on the UFC White House card.

“I am not fighting at the White House,” she told The Lapsed Fan podcast.

“After Mike Tyson being the biggest fight of the year, you never say never.

“But I ain’t fighting at the f—-ing White House.

“Even if offered? I got better s— to do. My kid needs pasta!”

Rousey’s verdict seemed definitive, but the more she talks about her ‘love’ for MMA, the more fans are going to believe she’s preparing to fight again.
