Despite the exhibition nature of their November showdown, Jake Paul has offered quite the stark warning to incoming foe Gervonta Davis.
Returning to the ring for his second clash of the year, polarizing puncher Jake Paul will take on current lightweight gold holder Gervonta Davis in an exhibition showdown in Florida.
Initially tied to a November date in Atlanta, the pairing has since been moved to Miami, with “larger gloves” set to be sported by the duo in the bout.
But despite the use of bigger mitts in a bid to prevent in-fight injury, Paul has offered quite a definitive fresh prediction for his fight with Davis.

Jake Paul vows to knock out Gervonta Davis in exhibition fight
A long-time rival of WBA champion Davis, the controversial Paul has vowed to finish the unbeaten megastar time and time again in the past, in a bid to secure a fight with the Baltimore puncher.
However, with a pairing now sealed for November, Paul has issued quite the prediction — vowing to knock out the undefeated gold holder despite the exhibition nature of the clash.
Hitting mitts and heavy bags during new training footage, Paul promised to defeat Davis in their showdown in ‘The Sunshine State’, vowing to leave the judges out of the equation in the pairing.
And while fans are up in arms over the pairing of Paul and Davis, particularly given the exhibition setting of the clash, a top official ripped the slated pairing, refusing to allow it to go ahead.
Athletic Commission refused to sanction Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis
Initially targeted to take place in Georgia, the bout between Paul and Davis has now been shifted to Florida.
And in quite a damning statement, Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission chairman Rick Thompson criticized the clash and the attempt to host it in Atlanta.
“This is the dumbest s— I’ve ever heard,” Thompson said of Paul’s fight with Davis. “It’s a money grabber, and I’m not OK with that.
