Brock Lesnar lookalike needed just 16 seconds to heel-hook rival in second fight of his viral MMA career

A viral MMA fighter made quick work of his second opponent to continue his ongoing rise in the sport.

Frederic Vosgröne has become a prominent figure in the MMA community owing to the likeness he shares with both former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and current lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett.

But while his look has undoubtedly helped him make a splash, the undefeated German has had the performances to match inside the cage.

The Lesnar lookalike won again at OKTAGON 76, extending his perfect pro record to 5-0 with a first-round rear-naked choke submission against Fabio Moraes. That finish came at the 4:15 mark of round one — some three minutes and 59 seconds slower than the quickest stoppage of his short career thus far.

Frederic Vosgröne made his second MMA opponent frantically tap out in just 16 seconds

Saturday’s result in Frankfurt, Germany, marked Vosgröne’s fifth straight domination of an opponent in MMA, and the Lesnar clone has been rattling those wins off in quick succession.

After three years away from MMA following his successful pro debut in 2021, the undefeated prospect returned in 2024 and has since reeled off four victories.

The recent run started with arguably his best performance to date — but certainly the fastest.

Vosgröne needed just 16 seconds to leave Christian Fischer frantically tapping out after instantly locking in a heel hook. The German set the move up by shooting for a double-leg takedown before quickly transitioning to the submission hold.

The move looked to have done some damage, as Vosgröne’s fellow countryman stayed down while the cageside doctor assessed his leg.

Frederic Vosgröne was not happy after his OKTAGON 76 win

Despite staying unbeaten and further building his hype with yet another finish inside the cage, which came on the same night that Lesnar made his WWE return, ‘The Neanderthal’ was not pleased in the aftermath.

Vosgröne stormed out of his OKTAGON 76 press conference and suggested his career in the promotion could be over.

The 5-0 German criticized the organization’s treatment of him. Though he did not expand on that statement at the event, he called out OKTAGON MMA in the past for allegedly not giving his girlfriend water during a previous card.
