Jake Paul shows off unique training method as countdown for Gervonta Davis fight begins

Less than two months out from his showdown with Gervonta Davis, polarizing puncher Jake Paul is putting some rather unique training methods to use.

Booking a November return to the ring, Jake Paul will take on current WBA lightweight titleholder Gervonta Davis in a showdown, now expected to take place in Florida.

Returning to action for the first time since his summer win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Paul also rides a win over heavyweight icon Mike Tyson into his clash.

However, coming under fire for his pairing with Davis, it seems Paul is leaving no stone unturned for the controversial bout.

Jake Paul pulls ATV as he prepares for Gervonta Davis fight

Taking on the current lightweight gold holder in an exhibition clash, Paul revealed on social media this evening that he has a countdown clock in place for the pairing, which happens in just 55 days’ time.

And showing off some rather unique training methods, Paul posted a picture of himself pulling an ATV with a harness strapped to his back and shoulders.

“I got the world on my shoulders, trying to take me down,” Paul posted on X. “But obstacles won’t stop me. Doubt won’t stop me. And most of all, haters won’t stop me. 55 DAYs #JakeTank”

Seemingly putting preparation first for the exhibition fight with Davis, the Ohio native has also been linked with a blockbuster fight if he makes a triumphant return in ‘The Sunshine State’.

Jake Paul touted as future Canelo Alvarez foe

Forever staking his claim for a shot at now-former undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez, Paul has remained rather tight-lipped on the Mexican’s loss to Terence Crawford this month.

However, according to a former world champion, a victory over Davis — regardless of the exhibition nature of the clash, would position Paul for an eye-catching clash next.

So much so, Paul has been identified as a future foe of Canelo should he get past Davis, particularly with the Jalisco star linked with a potential retirement tour next year.
