Terence Crawford has to make sure he doesn’t make a colossal error, according to a retired boxer.
On Saturday night, ‘Bud’ dominated Canelo Alvarez to relieve the Mexican of his undisputed super middleweight world championship.
His performance was so impressive, that Shane Mosley says Crawford would’ve beaten Floyd Mayweather.
However, while the American is currently defying the laws of weight classes, a former world champion believes even he has a limit.
Sheesh: Terence Crawford names the one fighter who punched him harder than Canelo Alvarez

Terence Crawford can’t do what Roy Jones Jr. did, says Chris Algieri
Terence Crawford can’t afford to make the same mistake as Roy Jones Jr., according to Chris Algieri.
The ex-WBO light welterweight champion doesn’t want the pound-for-pound superstar to carry on fighting for too long.
Algieri told Boxing Scene: “I would love to see him walk away and see him finish a career perfect, kind of the way I wish Roy Jones Jr. had done after he had beaten John Ruiz.
“He jumped up to the heavyweight division, became heavyweight champion of the world. At that point, what else is there to do?
“He chose to go back down to light heavyweight, fight the number one contender who’d been there for a long time, Antonio Tarver, who was a super dangerous guy.
“He ended up winning that fight too, he could’ve stopped there, it wasn’t a great performance, but he could’ve stopped there, and he would’ve been minted as GOAT status, but he kept going.
“Part of me wishes that he did stop then, because then we’d be talking about GOAT status, which is where Crawford is right now.”
Terence Crawford’s coach says whether ‘Bud’ could fight boxer bigger than Canelo Alvarez
Algieri definitely doesn’t want Crawford to carry on moving through the weight classes.
However, some want Bud to push himself even further.
Recently, Crawford’s trainer explained whether his boxer could fight a champion bigger than Canelo.
