Although he has the biggest fight of his own career coming up in the matter of months, Jake Paul is making moves in other ways.
Not long ago it was controversially announced that Jake Paul‘s next fight has been booked to take place against lightweight world champion Gervonta Davis, despite the huge weight difference between them.
However, it was recently revealed that the fight was in jeopardy of being called off because of the weight difference, and Most Valuable Promotions withdrew their request for licenses to hold the event in Atlanta.
Despite that, MVP then announced this past Wednesday that the event will now take place in Miami at the Kaseya Center, bypassing any concerns regarding the weight.

Jake Paul puts on promoter hat as he announces new signing
Since his emergence in the boxing world, ‘The Problem Child’ has completely divided the fanbase with his involvement in the sport.
Although he is widely regarded as one of the most controversial figures in combat sports, it is undeniable the positive impact he has had on the sport.
With his creation of Most Valuable Promotions, Paul has put together some of the biggest fights in recent history and he continues to do so with some of the most exciting prospects in the sport.
And ahead of his fight against ‘Tank’ Davis, the 28-year-old has put his promoter hat back on and has announced a new signing to his promotion this Thursday.
MVP announced they have signed Olympic bronze medalist German powerhouse, Nelvie Tiafack to their promotion.
“Damn, he’s got power. He’s a problem,” Paul said when watching videos of Tiafack.
“Melvie, what’s up my guy? MVP is signing Olympians left and right and I think it’s time we go to Germany. I got you a fight September 27th, Most Valuable Prospects. Congrats bro, you just became most valuable,” Paul continued as he spoke to Tiafack on a FaceTime call.
Tiafack, who is 1-0 in professional boxing, will take on Ramiro Robles, another undefeated fighter at 5-0, in Montreal at the Theatre St-Denis.
Prospect could end up fighting on Paul vs Davis undercard
With ‘The Problem Child’ continuing to look to build-up some prospects in the sport, with a win over Robles, the German powerhouse could find himself competing on Paul vs Davis in November.
As of yet, no fights have been announced for the undercard of the November 14 event, however, several fighters will undoubtedly be looking to compete on what is guaranteed to be a huge event.
