Tom Aspinall hopes he’ll be able to have a quick turnaround after UFC 321.
The undisputed heavyweight champion will defend his title against Ciryl Gane on October 25.
It’ll be his first fight since knocking out Curtis Blaydes in 60 seconds at UFC 304 in July 2024.
Back from his unwanted spell on the sidelines, Tom Aspinall desires to fight as much as possible.

Why Tom Aspinall is unlikely to fight twice in 2025
With no weight cut to worry about, Tom Aspinall could theoretically fight again soon after UFC 321.
That’s something the 31-year-old would like to do, but a scheduling issue makes it unlikely.
There will be just two 2025 UFC pay-per-view shows left after Aspinall fights Gane in October.
Other champions will be campaigning to fill the headline slots Aspinall would want to occupy.
For that reason, the British fan favorite is most likely to be limited to just one fight in 2025.
“I’d like to,” he said when asked if he could fight twice in 2025 by Bloody Elbow.
“It’s just getting the UFC on board with it.
“They’ve got pay-per-view guys who want to headline another card.
“If I can fit into another card later this year, I will. If not, it will be as soon as possible next year.”
Tom Aspinall expects improved Ciryl Gane
Tom Aspinall says Ciryl Gane has worked on ‘holes in his ground game’, and could try to take him down at UFC 321
The French heavyweight was surprisingly outwrestled by Francis Ngannou at UFC 270 in January 2022.
14 months later, Jon Jones submitted him in 124 seconds after easily getting their UFC 285 title fight to the floor.
Despite that, Aspinall insists that his easiest route to victory may not be outwrestling Gane.
“It’s an MMA fight, so anything can happen,” he added.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to take me down. It’s MMA, so I’m preparing for everything.
“I work with really high-level guys in all aspects. I’m comfortable anywhere and I’ll take the path of least resistance, however that looks on the night.
“We’ve seen that Ciryl has holes in his ground game, but he’s improved. Stuff like that gives you an opportunity to improve. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get in a lot of grappling exchanges this time, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a straight-up standup fight either.
“You’ve gotta be ready for anything in MMA, and I’m preparing for everything.”
