New location revealed for Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis after commission rejected exhibition

Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis will still take place, just not in Georgia.

Many had thought the upcoming boxing exhibition, which features a massive size disparity between the 6’1″ Paul and the 5’5″ boxing phenom Davis, was in jeopardy ahead of its Nov. 14 date.

Originally slated for State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, it was learned that Most Valuable Promotions had withdrawn their request for event permits and rule waivers to hold Paul vs. Davis there.

Following criticism from the Georgia State Athletic and Entertainment Commission for ‘promoting something they should not have been’, Paul has confirmed the show will go on—from a different state.

Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis exhibition moved to Miami

On Wednesday, Paul and Most Valuable Promotions confirmed the Davis exhibition match had been moved to Miami, Florida.

Paul vs. Davis is set for the Kaseya Center, home of the NBA’s Miami Heat. The venue can hold close to 20,000 fans.

Paul took inspiration from basketball legend LeBron James, a former Heat player, when announcing they were going to Miami.

“This is very tough,” Paul wrote on X.

“But this fall I’m going to take my talents to South Beach and fight Tank Davis at the Kaseya Center, live on Netflix globally.

“That was my conclusion when I woke up this morning,” Paul wrote.

Most Valuable Promotions claims Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis is the ‘biggest fight’ of 2025

2025 has seen some massive fights.

However, right now, none are bigger than the boxing super-fight between Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Alvarez last weekend, which saw Crawford become an undisputed champion across three divisions in front of millions on Netflix.

Canelo vs. Crawford had 41M viewers, making it the most-streamed fight of the year so far.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson did more than double those numbers with 125M viewers last November.

Most Valuable Promotions, who put on the event, claim the upcoming Paul vs. Davis will be the ‘biggest fight of the year’, despite the boxing legacy that’s attached to Canelo vs. Crawford.
