Dana White offers surprise prediction for Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis fight he hates

Dana White and Jake Paul haven’t seen eye-to-eye on a bunch of things over the years.

The UFC CEO has been highly critical of Jake Paul‘s choice of opponents throughout his boxing career.

Meanwhile, the 12-1 star has called out Dana White for underpaying and mistreating UFC fighters.

Their bitter beef had died down in 2025, but now MMA’s most powerful man has risked reviving it by sharing his thoughts on the upcoming clash between Logan Paul’s brother and Gervonta Davis.

Dana White previews Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis

Jake Paul will face Gervonta Davis in an exhibition mismatch scheduled for November 14.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer has a massive size advantage, standing at 6ft 1in tall and weighing as much as 227lbs during his 13-fight professional boxing career.

Davis is the more experienced and accomplished boxer. The 5ft 5in, 135lb world champion also packs a punch that makes him one of the pound-for-pound best knockout artists on the planet.

Despite appreciating the world-class quality of ‘Tank’, Dana White hates that he’s fighting his old enemy.

The UFC boss suggested Paul’s advantage will be too much for Davis to overcome on fight night.

“I don’t hate your brother,” White said on Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive’ podcast.

“You know what is funny about your brother? He’s going to fight f—ing Gervonta Davis.

“You guys need to fight guys your f—ing same size. When you fought Floyd, you are massive, you’re a massive f—ing dude. Floyd’s tiny, and I’m sure when you were training, you’re like, ‘Alright, I’m gonna hit this guy with a couple punches and grab him, tie him up’.

“And he did hit you with a bomb of an overhand right one time, and you f—ing ate it. You ate that punch.

“Gervonta, I think, hits way harder than f—— Floyd, but he’s too small. I mean, your brother’s going to be able to get inside on him, put his weight on him, tie him up.”

What are the rules for Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis?

Jake Paul revealed the bizarre rules for his fight with Gervonta Davis months before it was announced.

In May, the 28-year-old thought he had missed out on a clash with Davis, who was expected to pursue an immediate rematch after drawing with Lamont Roach in his last fight.

“I mean, that was on the one-yard line as well, but he has to rematch Lamont Roach. He wants to get that back, and then we’ll be back in discussions with Mr Gervonta,” Paul said on The Ariel Helwani Show.

“This is the nature of boxing. You have massive fights on the one-yard line, and they just fall through.”

Helwani subsequently asked how a fight between Paul and Davis would work, given their size difference.

“195,” Paul added when asked about what weight the fight would be contested at. “It would be an exhibition, 10 three-minute rounds. No restrictions, just the fact we couldn’t actually get it professionally sanctioned.”
