Dana White hints one of MMA’s most successful stars could return to the UFC after being banned in 2016

Dana White could allow one of the biggest names in MMA to attend UFC events again.

The President of the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization is never afraid to express how he feels.

White once raged at Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva for their iconic brawl, and in 2016, he was rendered furious with an MMA journalist.

The writer in question received a ban from attending his shows.

Dana White could mend his relationship with Ariel Helwani

As per talkSPORT, Ariel Helwani, who has won the Fighters Only MMA Journalist of the Year Award every year since 2010, was banned for breaking the news that Brock Lesnar would return at UFC 200 and that Conor McGregor would face Nate Diaz in a rematch at UFC 202.

However, with almost a decade having passed, Dana White could be ready to bury the hatchet.

During an interview with Impaulsive, the 56-year-old asked Logan Paul how Helwani is doing, to which the YouTuber responded: “He’s upset that the relationship is what it is with the UFC.”

The businessman responded: “I’m upset about it too.

“Maybe we should figure this thing out; we should probably all get back together.”

Joe Rogan urges Dana White to make a massive UFC rule change

While White has had a frosty relationship with Helwani over the years, his friendship with Joe Rogan has remained solid.

However, the podcaster still wants the entrepreneur to change things.

In a plea to his buddy, Rogan asked Dana White to make a UFC rule change.
