Jon Jones is staying busy as he waits for an update on his potential return to MMA.
The former two-weight UFC champion announced his retirement from the sport back in June.
However, ‘Bones’ made a quick retirement U-turn after it was announced that the UFC would host an event at the White House in 2026.
Jon Jones is currently training five times a week for his comeback, while also coaching a potential MMA superstar.

Jon Jones reacts to Gable Steveson’s MMA debut
Olympic gold medalist wrestler Gable Steveson recently enjoyed a winning MMA debut.
Jon Jones watched on as he absolutely mauled his first MMA opponent in just 98 seconds
MMA’s greatest fighter of all time has since reflected on his role as one of Steveson’s coaches.
“Coaching is always rewarding,” Jones captioned his latest Instagram post.
“But let’s be honest, when the athlete is @Gable Steveson, it feels like cheating.
“Man’s a human cheat code, and we just get to hold the controller.”
Dana White’s latest UFC White House card update
UFC CEO Dana White has repeatedly ruled out Jon Jones headlining his White House card.
MMA’s most powerful man doesn’t trust Jones after he reneged on a deal to fight Tom Aspinall.
White claims he recently received an apology, but it hasn’t changed his strong stance on the matter.
The 57-year-old wants Conor McGregor, not Jon Jones, to top the once-in-a-lifetime UFC show.
“[Jon Jones] is the greatest of all time, I still know that to be a fact,” White said.
“But he’s not the greatest of all time, ‘guy you can count on that you know 100 per cent is going to be solid and be there’. Say what you want about Conor McGregor, because people like to talk s— about that too, but he is that guy.
“He’s always been that guy, I’ve been in the room and on the phone with him. There are a lot of guys who talk tough publicly, but behind the scenes, it’s a whole other ball game. When the s— hits the fan, who’s really willing to go out there? Conor McGregor has always been that guy.”
