Most fans agreed that the 116-112, 115-113, 115-113 verdict in favor of ‘Bud’ was bang on the money.
However, Ring Magazine’s ‘AI fourth judge’ saw the biggest fight of 2025 differently than most.

Fans react to wild AI judge scorecard
According to the AI judge, Canelo Alvarez should still be the undisputed super middleweight champion.
The futuristic scoring system had his 12-round clash with Terence Crawford as a 114-114 draw.
Fans sent their shocked reactions to the unlikely scorecard to Ring Magazine’s X account.
“That’s a bad scorecard,” one fan said. While another added: “Oh dear! Might need reprogramming!”
“I guess AI judging is still light years away,” someone else commented.
“AI, go home! You’re drunk,” another tweeted.
“AI judge wants more money from a rematch,” this fan joked.
“Leave the judging to humans,” a sixth person wrote.

Terence Crawford answered a retirement question after beating Canelo Alvarez in a huge upset.
The 37-year-old refused to rule out walking away from boxing during his post-fight interview.
“I don’t know,” Crawford replied when Max Kellerman asked if we had just witnessed his last fight.
“I gotta sit down with my team and we’ll talk about it.”
After that, Canelo opened the door for a rematch without calling for it outright.
“I feel great to share the ring with great fighters like him,” Alvarez said.
“If we do it again, it’s going to be great.”
