After a major assignment Saturday night on the Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford card, Callum Walsh has another one in his sights.
Walsh will co-headline the event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where the Dana White-backed boxing prospect marks one of the notable names tasked with setting the stage for Alvarez and Crawford’s super fight in the curtain closer.
The Irishman’s inclusion on the lineup is unsurprising given his connection to the UFC CEO. White has promoted Alvarez vs Crawford alongside Turki Alalshikh, marking their first collaboration ahead of the Zuffa Boxing launch in 2026.
Years before announcing his intention to return to the boxing realm, White took notice of Walsh’s work in the ring and the pair have worked together ever since, with some of the 24-year-old’s matches airing on UFC Fight Pass.
Walsh has clearly appreciated White’s backing, so much so that he’s willing to make one of the UFC boss’ rivals pay for his words.

Callum Walsh wants to make Jake Paul pay for his Dana White trash talk
While forging his career in the squared circle, Jake Paul has been a vocal critic of White and the UFC. He’s notably berated the promotion and its higher ups for topics such as the fighter pay issue.
During Paul’s ongoing animosity toward White, Walsh has also found himself caught in the crossfire. And with that in mind, the Irish prospect wants to settle things inside the ring against the polarizing 12-1 pro.
“It’s just random, he always just talks s— about me and Dana,” Walsh told SunSport ahead of his fight against Fernando Vargas on September 13.
“He just says like, ‘Oh, Dana’s been promoting for this long and I’m going nowhere.’ But at the end of the day I’m 14-0, I’m co-main event of Canelo-Crawford and he’s fighting retired fighters.
“He was asked questions about me and he was like, I’m useless and all this, but he’s just a piece of s—,” Walsh continued. “He was like, ‘He would never fight me, he’d hide behind the weight.’ But I’d fight him no bother, no problem.
“I’d fight him, especially the money they’re giving too. Anyway, I’d fight it for free just to prove a point. But yeah, he’s just always talking s—, so I go back and forth with him a little bit. But at the end of the day, I don’t think he’d ever do it.”

What Jake Paul said about Dana White promoting Callum Walsh
Walsh is clearly holding a grudge over some of Paul’s past remarks, which included a sly dig at him on social media as ‘The Problem Child’ once again took aim at the UFC boss.
While the days of Paul and White going at one another on a regular basis are seemingly behind them, the ex-Disney star did target the 56-year-old last November, hitting back at his boxing promotion plans by pointing out his past failures in the sport.
And that included Paul taking a shot at White’s promotion of Walsh.
“Dana White has been a boxing promoter his whole career. All these nut riders need to do their research,” Paul wrote on X.
“His TV show (‘The Fighters’) failed. Couldn’t sell 4K tickets in Dublin with that useless Irish boxer he’s promoting. And he is not fighters first. He’s Dana first. Builds you up and tears you down,” he added.
