Kimbo Slice Jr. won’t be making the walk at BKFC 80 tonight.
The son of late UFC fighter and street fighting legend Kimbo Slice was supposed to be following in his father’s footsteps in his bare knuckle boxing debut in Hollywood, Florida.
Kevin Ferguson Jr. initially signed to BKFC in 2024 and he actually booked his debut against TikTok star Bryce Hall at Knuckle Mania 5 earlier this year, however he withdrew from the bout because of his conflicting schedule as a police officer and not being able to prepare the way he wanted to.
A former Bellator fighter with a record of 3-3, Kimbo Slice Jr. was rebooked against BKFC veteran Derek Perez at BKFC 80 on Friday.
Many fans were excited to see Kimbo Slice’s son fight bare knuckle for the first time, but it looks like they’ll have to wait even longer.

On fight night, a BKFC official confirmed to Bloody Elbow that Kimbo Slice Jr. vs. Derek Perez is now cancelled.
According to the official, Kimbo Slice Jr. did not weigh in on Thursday night.
Kimbo Slice Jr. would have been Perez’s tenth fight under the BKFC banner.
After back-to-back cancellations, it is unclearwhere Kimbo Slice Jr. goes from here.
BKFC 80 continues from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, in Hollywood, with a 10-fight line-up.
