Dana White has a choice to make after booking both Noche UFC 3 and Terence Crawford vs Canelo Alvarez on the same night.
Both events will take place on September 13, with the UFC CEO having a hand in promoting them both.
He is in charge of all UFC events and attends nearly every show, but he created a conflict by making his boxing promotion debut with Canelo vs Crawford on the same night as Noche UFC 3.
Dana White may have claimed he fixed the scheduling issues surrounding the two events, but he will have to make the choice which one to attend in person.

It is impossible for Dana White to attend both Noche UFC 3 and Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford
Unfortunately for White, he’ll need to make a choice about which event he’ll attend this weekend.
While both events will stream live on Saturday night, with the UFC on ESPN and the boxing on Netflix, it will be impossible for White to appear live at both shows.
Noche UFC 3 is being held in San Antonio, Texas, at the Frost Bank Center, kicking off at 6:00 PM (ET) for the main card, which features a main event between Diego Lopes and Jean Silva.
Meanwhile, Crawford vs Canelo takes place 1280 miles away at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the main card starting at 9:00 PM (ET).
A flight from San Antonio to Las Vegas takes around three hours, so there is no way White could watch one show and fly to the other in time.
If he left Noche UFC 3 as the main card was starting, taking a private jet down to Texas, then he may make it in time to see Canelo vs Crawford in the main event, but that seems as impractical as it is unlikely.
The most likely conclusion is that White will have to miss Noche UFC 3, given that Canelo vs Crawford is White’s first time promoting a boxing event.
The UFC CEO rarely misses his MMA events, but if there is ever a good reason for an exception, it’s the third-largest gate in boxing history in Las Vegas.
Dana White claimed to have fixed scheduling issues so fans could enjoy both events
Despite both events being on the night of September 13, White has fixed the scheduling issues so at least fans can enjoy both shows at home without interruption.
He told Ring Magazine that the two main cards for Saturday’s events will have no crossover, meaning that fans can enjoy both without missing out on the biggest fights.
His plan is to use Noche UFC 3 as a lead-in for Canelo/Crawford, making it one long night of top-class action for fight fans across the globe.
White said: “I’ve always had this theory that if you can get people to stay home on a Saturday night, and you put on two great fights the same night — we have UFC Noche that night, and I know that there’s a lotta questions about this. The main events, the main cards, will not cross over.
“You’ll be able to watch one right into the other, so to be part of a historic night on Mexican Independence Day — I love it.
I feel very blessed to be here. Thank [Turki Alalshikh] and both fighters up here. It’s gonna be a great night, historic night of fighting.”
