Roger Gracie has gone above and beyond to help Tom Hardy enhance his jiu-jitsu skills.
The pair share a fantastic bond, with the superstar actor absorbing the Brazilian’s words of wisdom like a sponge.
In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, Gracie said: “He’s super motivated.
“He fell in love with jiu-jitsu a few years ago, he’s competed, he’s trained in one of my academies. He’s become super passionate about the sport.

Gracie promises the book will feature secrets and lessons from competing at the top level.
He enthused: “There are lots of descriptions of the fights and the challenges that I’ve had, not just in jiu-jitsu but in MMA too.
“The mindset behind what it means to be a champion when everything seems very dark, how do you face a challenge like that?
“How do you face the fears you have inside your head, when someone is telling you, ‘Don’t do it, it’s too dangerous, it’s not going to work’? And then you have something deep inside you that pushes you through it.”
