Terence Crawford has never been dropped during his perfect 41-0 professional boxing career.
For the most part, the 37-year-old has dished out the punishment in four different weight classes.
Terence Crawford‘s chin will face the ultimate test when he jumps up two divisions to face undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas on September 13.
A former sparring partner of ‘Bud’ is worried he won’t be able to take the Mexican legend’s best shot.

Fernando Vargas Jr. is worried about Terence Crawford’s chin
Fernando Vargas Jr. will put his 17-0 record on the line against Callum Walsh (14-0) during Saturday night’s co-main event.
The son of a former world champion who fought Oscar De La Hoya and Shane Mosley – Fernando Vargas Sr. – recently shared his thoughts on Canelo vs. Crawford during an interview with Ring Magazine.
Vargas Jr. believes the bigger man will be too much after previously sparring with Crawford.
“Terence Crawford, I’ve had the opportunity to spar with him, very crafty in there,” he said.
“It went good, it went real good. I went in there, I believe he was getting ready for Errol Spence, and I went over there to the Apex and we sparred, and he’s really strong… He’s one of those skinny, strong guys.
“So, he knows how to definitely use his strength. I think he’ll have early success with Canelo, maybe snapping his head back. You see Canelo picking up fighters when he gets frustrated, but I think Canelo will end up putting his punches together, and I think that power will just be too much.
“I don’t think Terence Crawford would withstand Canelo’s best shot, but that’s what makes it a good fight.”
Terence Crawford reacts to injury rumor
Terence Crawford has reacted to a rumor about him carrying a shoulder injury into his latest fight.
“Where I got a shoulder injury? I don’t know,” he said.
“I think people are coming up with, they’re all antics, ‘Terence Crawford got a shoulder injury, Terence Crawford is out of shape, Terence Crawford is slow,’ they’re coming up with all kinds of stuff.”
Canelo has also responded to talk of his next opponent being potentially hurt ahead of their clash.
“I don’t know,” Alvarez insisted. To be honest, I don’t care. I’m gonna do my job anyway.”
