Following his recent blockbuster win, former UFC title challenger Darren Till is in talks to fight one of the most famous people on the planet.
Since leaving the UFC in 2022, Darren Till has returned to the form that saw him challenge for the welterweight title against Tyron Woodley in 2018.
The reason ‘The Gorilla’ has found a career resurgence is because he has taken his talents to influencer boxing, where he has continued to shine and show his skillset.
And that return to form recently saw him score an extremely brutal knockout over former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold in a big grudge match on Misfits Boxing.

Till in talks for a huge mega-fight against one of the most famous influencers in the world
Immediately after his win over Rockhold, the Brit called for an all-British clash against former boxing world champion, Carl Froch, who watched his fight from the front row.
Following Till’s callout, Froch issued a response, claiming that he is interested in a potential return to the boxing ring and is surprised about how recent talks have gone.
However, Till may be able to pick his next opponent as last week it was announced that famous influencer Andrew Tate is looking to make his return to combat sports with Misfits.
And now just over a week from his blockbuster win, Till has revealed that he has begun talks with Misfits over a potential clash against ‘The Cobra’ after a few spats with each other online.
“For me, if he’s the ‘Top G’, he’s definitely not gonna decline a fight against me is he, he’s gonna come in and show me why he’s the ‘Top G’, so, top m—, top alpha, I’m certainly expecting him to accept the fight with me real soon,” Till said on The Ariel Helwani Show.
“He’s a very intelligent, high IQ guy that’s for sure but his ego is what will hurt him if he ever comes up against me, on the mic, at the presser, I’m willing to go all the way.
“All parties (want to get the fight done), Andrew Tate is definitely interested otherwise he wouldn’t tweet me back, Misfits are interested, my management are interested, it’s looking like a fight that will be made before the end of the year in a great location.
“He’s, in my eyes, one of the most famous people on the planet, certainly the most Googled, he’s a well bigger name than Jake Paul and stuff like that, so for me it’s huge, it’s life-changing… It’s a 75% made fight,” Till continued.
Till vs Tate could be the biggest Misfits fight so far
If in fact the former kickboxers do clash inside the Misfits ring, it will undoubtedly be the biggest fight put together by the boxing promotion since its inception in 2022.
Not only that, but because of the popularity of both fighters and the chaotic build-up that would likely take place, Till and Tate would likely make a lot of money from the clash rumoured for the Middle East.
