It didn’t take long for UFC Paris debutant Harry Hardwick to break his silence following his brutal loss.
The premier promotion returned to the French capital this Saturday for another UFC Paris Fight Night event, headlined by home country fighter Nassourdine Imavov and Caio Borralho.
And on the card were several highly anticipated debuts from European fighters who were finally given their shots in the UFC after impressive runs on their respective regional scenes.
One of which was the UFC debut of former Cage Warriors featherweight champion Harry Hardwick who stepped in on late-notice to take on Kaue Fernandes after Fares Ziam unfortunately withdrew.

Hardwick breaks his silence following brutal KO loss
Despite the widespread support for the British fighter coming into his fight, he was brutally finished by the Brazilian in round one after continuous leg kicks.
Hardwick’s legs were left so injured that he was unable to walk out of the Octagon and subsequently had to be wheel-chaired out of the arena.
And if the Brit’s night couldn’t get any worse, UFC legend Cub Swanson took to social media following the fight and branded Hardwick ‘the worst fighter in the UFC’, utterly slamming his performance.
Just a few hours after his brutal loss, Hardwick took to social media himself to break his silence, criticising his own performance.
“I’m alright, that was s—, I was s— but I’m alright,” Hardwick began his statement.
“You know, four days notice up a weight class, I thought, ‘Yeah, f— it, I’ll do it,’ but it is what it is, man. I’ll come back, I’ll be back. Never in a million years did I think that’s how my UFC debut would go, but it is what it is.
“I can stand, I’m alright, I don’t think anything is broken, I’m alright, you’s don’t need to worry… I’m good,” Hardwick continued.
Will Harry Hardwick fight in the UFC again?
Having signed to fight on just four days notice, it is likely that Hardwick was on more than just a single fight contract, however, the details are currently unknown.
And with that, it is yet to be known whether the Brit will fight under the UFC banner again, but if he does, he will likely endeavour to show the fans his true skills in the cage.
