Jeremy Stephens wants to leave no doubt he’s better than fellow UFC vet Mike Perry.
The former UFC stars are currently undefeated in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and they put their perfect records on the line against each other in the main event of BKFC 82 on Oct. 4 in Newark, New Jersey.
This isn’t just any fight, however, as Mike Perry defends his ‘King of Violence’ title for the first time against Jeremy Stephens, who has 20 more UFC fights than ‘Platinum’.
Ahead of their upcoming fight, Stephens claims he’s the new face of the BKFC – not Perry.
Considering how massive this fight is for BKFC, there’s one question that comes to mind: will we see a sequel?

Jeremy Stephens won’t give Mike Perry a rematch after he makes a ‘statement’ at BKFC 82
Perry is arguably the biggest star on the BKFC roster and is 5-0 in the Squared Circle, with wins over former UFC champions Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez, top-10 UFC middleweight Michael ‘Venom’ Page, former UFC title challenger Thiago Alves and current BKFC champ Julian Lane.
Stephens’ best wins in BKFC have come over Alvarez and Jimmie Rivera, a former top-5 bantamweight in the UFC.
Should Stephens be the first to take out the ‘King of Violence’ in bare knuckle, Bloody Elbow asked him if he’d entertain an immediate rematch with Perry after.
“F— him,” Stephens said of a potential rematch with Perry.
“I’m gonna put him out, bro…
“My statement’s gonna speak for itself,” Stephens added.
“You know, I’m a man of action, I’m a man of my word.
“I’m gonna f—— dominate and make it look easy,” Stephens said ahead of his upcoming fight on Oct. 4.
Jeremy Stephens doesn’t think his UFC run is over
Stephens currently has a one-fight contract with BKFC, meaning he’ll be a free agent—win, lose, or draw against Perry.
That’s how Stephens was able to trade the Squared Circle for the UFC Octagon earlier this year in his unexpected return against Mason Jones at UFC Des Moines in May, which was a home game for the 35-fight UFC veteran. Stephens lost via unanimous decision in a violent fight.
Tied for sixth-most appearances in UFC history, Stephens could enter the top five of the record books with another fight.
“Absolutely,” Stephens said of his UFC run not being over yet.
“For sure, I got one more fight. Most definitely.
“It’d be nice to have one last fight there and that’d be it.
“One more for sure,” Stephens said of having another UFC fight.
