Floyd Mayweather splashes cash moments after confirming Mike Tyson exhibition fight as he trolls fans

Floyd Mayweather is already trolling fans by splashing cash just moments after confirming a controversial return to the ring.

Earlier this year, it seemed that Mayweather may be preparing to make a full return to pursue a rematch with Manny Pacquiao, who drew with Mario Barrios in a stunning comeback in July. Instead, he is set to face Mike Tyson in an exhibition early next year; the year his opponent turns 60.

Despite both men’s advanced ages, the fight is likely to be one of the biggest in recent memory as two of the biggest boxing stars of all time share the ring. There is also a legitimate feud between the pair dating back decades.

Floyd Mayweather trolls fans as he counts cash following Mike Tyson fight announcement

Floyd Mayweather didn’t take long to start trolling fans on social media after the announcement of his fight with Mike Tyson. The cocky boxing icon is known for showing off his exorbitant wealth, and it was no different as he counted his cash in a new set of videos posted to his Instagram story.

He blasted out music as he counted tens of thousands of dollars in cash before putting it back into a bag. “S—,” he joked. “I’m pretty sure I’d be upset too if I were somebody else, I’d be mad at Mayweather, too.

“How the f— for 29-30 years you can keep getting money like this? I’d be mad too, s—, I’d be hating on Mayweather too. Continue to hate, people only talk about winners, I’m a winner so continue to talk. Keep the bread fresh, put it in a bag. Call me the bread man.”

Mayweather then showed off his multiple new iPhones and declared: “See, I’m balling the f— out. Crocodile phones, Himalayan phones, crocodile bags. It’s my life, man. It’s great.”

Mike Tyson concerned for Floyd Mayweather’s health in grudge fight

While Mayweather has already taken to social media, Tyson seems to have only spoken out via a press release from the fight’s promoters. In that statement, he expressed concern for Mayweather, who last tipped the scales almost 70lb lower than his heavyweight frame, in their showdown.

“When CSI came to me about stepping in the ring with Floyd Mayweather,” Tyson said. “I thought, ‘No way this happens,’ but Floyd said yes. This fight is something neither the world nor I ever thought would or could happen.

“However, boxing has entered a new era of the unpredictable—and this fight is as unpredictable as it gets. I still can’t believe Floyd wants to really do this. It’s going to be detrimental to his health, but he wants to do it, so it’s signed and it’s happening!”
