Patricio Pitbull has told fans that they must blame Losene Keita for their fight falling through after he missed weight by 3lb.
The legendary former two-weight Bellator champion tipped the scales at championship weight of 145lb this morning in preparation for their UFC Paris showdown. However, Keita then arrived over the limit at 149lb, which forced a cancellation.
A former two-division champion in his own right with OKTAGON, Keita was a massive favorite heading into the clash. But Pitbull has no interest in re-booking, insisting that he wants to now move on to challenge Arnold Allen.

Patricio Pitbull speaks out after Losene Keita cancellation
Patricio Pitbull has not been shy in speaking out about the matter, quickly giving a statement to the UFC Brazil page where he offered his side of the story. The Brazilian was set to compete for a third time in five months, and now wants to get out in his home country next month.
In a tweet, Pitbull wrote: “I did my part, but my opponent didn’t do his. I was called on short notice, traveled, dealt with jet lag and made weight. My opponent was at home, had 3 more hours to try and chose not to. I really would like to fight on the UFC Rio card. I’ll face anyone who makes weight.”
During the video, translated by MMAFighting, Pitbull said: “I’m absolutely sure he didn’t try going to the bath tub [to cut more weight]. There’s plenty of ways [to try]. He was surrounded by kids. There was no one older to put him in place, ‘Stay there, go make weight’.
“At 9am he weighed in, he was over, and instead of trying until 11am, which is the limit, he was eating baby food. F— you, man. If you want to blame anyone, blame my opponent. Black Panther? He’s Fat Panther.”
