UFC Paris star goes in on social media figure ‘The Liver King’ in x-rated rant… ‘I hate him’

Ever since his signing in the UFC, Andreas Gustafsson has continued to win over the fanbase with his unique personality.

This coming Saturday, the premier promotion returns to Paris for another iteration of UFC Paris, headlined by middleweight contenders Nassourdine Imavov and Caio Borralho.

The co-main event also sees two fan favorites clash as French contender Benoit Saint-Denis takes on the soaring Brazilian Mauricio Ruffy in a big lightweight clash.

Outside of the main and co-main event, there are several highly anticipated debuts on the card, as well as the return of popular welterweight, Andreas Gustafsson.

Gustafsson goes in on The Liver King in x-rated rant

Last August, ‘Bane’ Gustafsson won a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series after scoring a brutal finish over Pat Pytlik.

He was then awarded his UFC debut on the huge UFC 316 event earlier this year when he took on the veteran Khaos Williams in a short-notice fight.

Gustafsson went on to maul Williams, leaving his face a bloody mess after a dominant decision win, which won him a lot of fans.

Not only has the Swede won the fanbase because of his fight style, but he also has a unique personality that has resonated with the fans.

And ahead of his fight against Rinat Fakhretdinov, Gustafsson has gone in on social media star, The Liver King.

Earlier this year, The Liver King sparked a wild feud with UFC icon Joe Rogan, calling him out for a grappling match. Things turned serious though when the social media star was detained in Austin, Texas after flying there to confront Rogan.

“I hate him, I f—— hate him, I can’t even watch him,” Gustafsson told Full Send MMA.

“He’s doing all that s— to be seen, to be famous, he’s a nobody, he’s a nobody. He talks about eating raw food all the time but he’s taking steroids all day long and many people believe him and think he’s the real deal.

“People think he looks like that because he is like that, and it’s not true. I don’t like those kinds of people,” Gustafsson continued.

Can Andreas Gustafsson crack the UFC welterweight top 15?

Although he is only two fights into his UFC career, Gustafsson could quickly find himself in the top 15 of the 170lb division.

The welterweight division at the moment is crying out for new contenders and Fakhretdinov was previously ranked in the top 15, leaving Gustafsson an opportunity to earn himself a shot against a ranked opponent with a win over the Russian.
