France hosts a major UFC event for the fourth year in a row as the company returns to Paris on September 13.
After Khamzat Chimaev shook up the UFC Middleweight division by beating Dricus du Plessis at UFC 319, the promotion will be looking for his next challenger in the months to come.
The UFC Paris main event could have huge implications for that, pitting #2-ranked Nassourdine Imavov against the #7-ranked Caio Borralho, with a title fight for the winner seeming a likely reward.
While Dana White has hinted the UFC Vancouver winner could be next in line, Frenchman Imavov will hope to wow enough in his home country to climb above du Plessis in the rankings and towards a title shot.

Fares Ziam vs Kaue Fernandes was removed from UFC Paris just days before the event
A huge main card bout has been taken off the UFC Paris card after a tragedy meant Fares Ziam could no longer compete at the event.
His bout with Kaue Fernandes was one of the most highly anticipated bouts on the card, with both men on impressive winning streaks and eyeing up future title opportunities.
However, the death of his grandmother meant Ziam had to pull out of the fight, with a heartfelt post on Instagram revealing the tragic news.
Ziam said: “Following the sudden death of my grandmother, her funeral arrangements in France and abroad, I regret to cancel my participation in UFC Paris on September. Family is my priority.”
The bout has yet to be rearranged, and the bout between Patricio Pitbull and Losene Keita has been moved onto the main card instead.
