World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall appears to have received assurances from KSI that he will be fighting Dillon Danis next.
Hall entered the ring and went face-to-face with Danis after a lengthy period of trash talk last night, with the pair shaking hands on terms for a super-fight to take place. And the massive strongman met with KSI shortly afterwards backstage at the event, who has the authority to make such a fight happen.
The Brit says he will lose over 64lb to get under 300lb in order to meet Danis’ initial in-ring demand. And the strongman believes he could do it within 12 weeks to make the fight happen within this year.
KSI and Eddie Hall make Dillon Danis fight agreement
After infiltrating the ring following Dillon Danis‘ victory, Eddie Hall had a chance meeting backstage with KSI, who is the CEO of Misfits Boxing. While Mams Taylor tends to have the hands on control of day-to-day business, the YouTube star is also a key decision maker.
The entire scene was captured on the Misfits YouTube channel, with Hall explaining Danis’ terms of getting under 300lb. KSI seemed excited by the idea before host Biel Lelliott-Chimenis asked the pair to shake hands on the deal, which they gladly did.
“We will happily make that happen,” KSI declared, to which Hall noted that he had 64lb to lose which he would do in 12 weeks. The pair seemed delighted by the idea of the fight, particularly given KSI’s feud with Danis.
Eddie Hall believes he can knock out Dillon Danis
Despite only having a few months of training and one MMA fight, Hall believes that his massive size advantage over Danis will be enough to land the knockout. He would be weighing in 120lb heavier even at 300lb, and packs a serious punch.
In fact, not only did Hall put away multiple-time World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Puzianowski in his MMA debut, but he actually outscored Francis Ngannou to record the hardest punch at the UFC’s Performance Institute.
Meanwhile, Danis is an elite BJJ black belt, who showed off his skills by tapping out Warren Spencer within 15 seconds last night in Manchester.
