Darren Till vs Luke Rockhold result: Former UFC champion viciously KO’d in Manchester showdown

Darren Till and Luke Rockhold ended their bitter feud with a brutal third-round KO for the home fighter at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday night.

The former UFC duo had been kept apart by security all week amid one of the most intense build-ups in Misfits Boxing history. However, they ultimately got to throw hands in a highly anticipated main event showcasing two great former middleweight stars.

Till made an electric entrance to Oasis’ ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’, but he looked razor-sharp as he landed an early knockdown en route to a third-round knockout.

Despite their intense build-up, Darren Till and Luke Rockhold remained relatively tame throughout the opening round. However, with seconds to go, Rockhold was floored and narrowly saved by the bell after a massive left hand from the Brit.

The second was a similar story, although Till almost had the finish about halfway as he landed clean and unleashed a flurry before the former champion held on for dear life. And in the third he did get that clean knockout, putting his rival out cold in the corner.

Tony Ferguson and Dillon Danis finally won after six years on wild undercard

It was an exciting undercard of fights, particularly as the clocked ticked later in the night. Tony Ferguson managed to land a first victory since June of 2016, as did Dillon Danis, both by stoppage in their own right.

Danis was up first as he submitted Andrew Tate teammate Warren Spencer within 15 seconds, before facing off with Eddie Hall for a potential openweight showdown. He also faced off with Ferguson after his fight a few moments later.

The co-main event saw Ferguson bare the brunt of Salt Papi’s attacks before landing a stunning third round knockout to cement his first victory since leaving the UFC. It ended a six-fight, six-year-plus, drought for the beloved former interim champion.
