Zhang Weili has broken her silence after making a significant career decision.
The two-time UFC strawweight champion has vacated her 115lb title to pursue glory at flyweight.
On Thursday, Dana White announced Jack Della Maddalena vs. Islam Makhachev will headline UFC 322 on November 15.
The UFC boss also revealed Valentina Shevchenko will put her 125lb belt on the line against Zhang Weili in a co-main event super fight, which will take place after an exciting welterweight bout between Leon Edwards and Carlos Prates.

Zhang Weili reacts to UFC 322 news
Zhang Weili reacted to the news by sharing UFC 322 fight posters with her Instagram followers.
The 36-year-old added a caption addressing her decision to step up a division to test herself against one of the greatest female fighters in MMA history.
“UFC 322, let‘s go!” Zhang wrote.
“Keep moving forward. Stay positive and upward. Break through everything and surpass yourself.
“Everything is brand new. #ufc#ufc322 @ufc”
What about the vacant strawweight title?
Zhang Weili’s old belt will be up for grabs at UFC 321 in Abu Dhabi on October 21.
An undisputed heavyweight title bout between Tom Aspinall and Ciryl Gane will headline the card.
As part of his Thursday night fight announcements, Dana White confirmed the UFC 321 co-main event.
It’ll see top contenders Virna Jandiroba and Mackenzie Dern fight for the vacant 115lb belt.
