- Tony Ferguson has yet to arrive at the AO Arena View post
Darren Till and Luke Rockhold will do battle after a lengthy and heated build-up on a night of exciting action in Manchester this Saturday night.
The former UFC stars never met back when Rockhold was middleweight champion, but they now compete in the Misfits Boxing ring. They’re joined by legendary former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson, who takes on renowned influencer boxer Salt Papi.
It’s a big night for MMA fans, particularly on a night without a UFC event, with Dillon Danis making his return in an MMA bout with Warren Spencer. The BJJ black belt hasn’t fought since 2019, save for a celebrity boxing bout with Logan Paul in 2023, and takes on white belt Spencer in his comeback.
Polish MMA powerhouse Amadeusz Ferrari also returns to the ring to face Rahim Pardesi in his second Misfits outing. You as an American reader, may not be aware of these men, but their drawing power in Poland and Pakistan, respectively, is undeniable.
The card also features Chase DeMoor’s latest heavyweight title fight and a host of other influencer bouts. Even if you’re a fan of regular boxing, there’s a fight for WBA rankings at super-middleweight as Ty Mitchell takes on Sean Hemphill.
Darren Till viciously knocks out Luke Rockhold in the third round
Absolutely vicious in the third! Read our on the bell report here:

TILL KNOCKS OUT ROCKHOLD HALFWAY THROUGH THE ROUND! WHAT A SHOT! Three wins from three headliners this year.
[Link]Darren Till vs Luke Rockhold – Round 2
Referee breaks them up right as it seems Till might be about to finish the fight and Rockhold survives to the third. Not sure how much more he can take at this stage, though.

Tentative start from both despite the heated build-up, neither landing anything of major significance. Slow round BUT NO TILL LANDS A HUGE LEFT HAND! ROCKHOLD IS DOWN AND SAVED BY THE BELL!

Not just yet though, we still need the British and American national anthems! Expect ring walks around 11.30pm local time.
[Link]Tony Ferguson vs Dillon Danis next?
El Jefe emerges from the crowd with his belt and they shake hands in a respectful face-off. That would be one hell of a fight!
[Link]TONY FERGUSON WINS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OVER SIX YEARS
I cannot believe what I am writing right now, Tony Ferguson has defeated Salt Papi by third round TKO! What a moment! He is BACK!
[Link]Tony Ferguson vs Salt Papi – Round 3
Salt Papi is beginning to struggle with Tony Ferguson’s pace. The issue is Papi certainly hits harder. TONY FERGUSON LANDS BIG STUNS PAPI AND UNLOADS! HE KNOCKS OUT SALT PAPI!
[Link]Tony Ferguson vs Salt Papi – Round 2
They’re trading in the pocket now, which benefits Salt Papi greatly. Big round for Papi who is landing at will, but that issue he has of taking a shot to land two could cost him as this goes down the stretch.
[Link]Tony Ferguson vs Salt Papi – Round 1
We are underway and Ferguson is stalking the younger and more natural boxer Salt Papi. Counter-punching seeming to be the order of the day for Papi. What I will say is, it does look as though at any minute we could see a Salt Papi patented counter left hook that could spell trouble for the elder Ferguson.
[Link]Here comes Tony Ferguson
Am I allowed to say Ferguson looks great? I feel like we say that before all his fights lately!
Dillon Danis submits Warren Spencer within 20 seconds!
Idiotically, Spencer went to clinch after striking early and Danis submitted him within seconds!
[Link]No time wasted by Dillon Danis
He runs straight to the ring, no pomp, no circumstance, he just wants to fight.
[Link]Joey Essex and Numeiro go the distance!
A standing count for the Brazilian who completely empties the tank looking for a finish in round four! This is explosive, and the perfect antidote to what we just saw in the last fight!
[Link]JOEY ESSEX AND NUMEIRO ARE GOING TO WAR IN MANCHESTER
Essex scores a standing count, this referee seems to forget it’s supposed to be pro rules. They’re like rock ’em sock ’em robots!
[Link]Joey Essex heads back to the corner at the clapper, not the bell
He almost got himself knocked out for thinking the round was over ten seconds before it was.
[Link]Ty Mitchell defeats Sean Hemphill by split decision
That was a close ten rounds and maybe looked worse at the end for Mitchell because of how tired he was, but one judge scores it 98-95 to the Brit, meaning he won all but two rounds, presumably the last two. Not saying he didn’t win, but that first card is something else. He was knocked out of the ring at the end!
[Link]Ty Mitchell knocked out of the ring, but it’s scored a push
Hemphill clearly knows what he’s doing over the ten rounds, but an impressive showing from Mitchell whose time as a professional has been limited by legal issues.
[Link]We head to round nine
Officially the longest fight in Misfits history and this crowd are booing like crazy. It’s not been that bad of a fight, it’s just not what this audience wants!
[Link]We head to round five in Mitchell vs Hemphill
Imagine a Misfits fan tuning in to this? Why is it the longest fight ever on a Misfits card? Who is Sean Hemphill? Why are they just looking at each other?
[Link]Ty Mitchell gives us a dance routine on the way to the ring
More action in his ring walk than the entire first round!
[Link]Sean Hemphill vs Ty Mitchell up next
Just what we needed halfway through an 11-fight card – a ten rounder between two random non-influencers!
[Link]Chase DeMoor vs Natan Marcon is stopped by the doctors
Marcon was bleeding profusely from the second round, enough for the referee to ask the doctor to take a look. Doc said call it off, so Chase retains his belt with a second round stoppage
[Link]Chase DeMoor defends his heavyweight title next
An intense fight build-up almost caused this one to be cancelled, but DeMoor faces Polish prankster Natan Marcon.
Rahim Pardesi knocks out Amadeusz Ferrari in the fourth!
Pardesi puts down a visibly shattered Ferrari who refuses to get up! His 10 fans here by press row are going wild!
[Link]Amadeusz Ferrari and Rahim Pardesi struggling to get going
They had the craziest build-up, but this fight has so far been a bit of a snooze-fest. Where did either of these guys learn to box?
[Link]The people love Ferrari
There’s a very vocal and very annoying minority screaming right next to press row about how great Pardesi is, but the crowd seem to be chanting Ferrari. He looks a different man to the psycho who swung for the fences and gassed within minutes against Salt Papi a year ago.
[Link]Tony Ferguson has yet to arrive at the AO Arena
We are just hours from his co-main event and Bloody Elbow understands that Tony Ferguson has yet to arrive at the arena. Salt Papi has been here quite a while.
[Link]Amir Anderson knocks out Vitor Siqueira in round five
Beautiful combination from the ‘Cash Man’ floors Siqueira, who gets the longest count I’ve ever seen before opting not to continue.
[Link]Vicious knockdown from Amir Anderson to close out the third
Siqueira is so game but he’s vastly outmatched here.
[Link]Amir Anderson vs Vitor Siquiera up now
The Cashman puts his unbeaten record on the line as he returns for another outing under the Misfits Boxing ‘pro’ banner.
[Link]Carla Jade defeats Daryn Haris by Unanimous Decision
49-46 across the board. Little Bellsy invades the ring demanding a fight afterwards!
[Link]Carla Jade vs Daryn Haris up now for the women’s title
As prestigious a belt as there is in boxing!
[Link]Demi Sims wins her boxing debut by Unanimous Decision!
Demi Sims beats a game Nadeshi Hopkins over four rounds, with all three judges scoring it 40-35. That card doesn’t maybe do justice to how much offence Hopkins really put up.
[Link]Demi Sims scores a standing count
First round goes to Sims but these girls are going to war at the AO Arena!
[Link]Up next, the debut of Demi Sims!
Nadeshi Hopkins hasn’t shown up all week, but she is in the ring tonight!
[Link]BANG! J’Hon Ingram stops Banty Singh
Brutality in the second round as Ingram floors Singh and the Indian challenger can’t continue.
[Link]J’Hon Ingram up next
The 24-year-old prospect is best known for knocking out two-weight world champion Rolly Romero in a viral sparring video. But he now must climb the ranks as a pro after splitting with Floyd Mayweather last year.
[Link]Fight Night has arrived
Personally, I can’t believe I’m half an hour away from entering an arena where Dillon Danis will be having an MMA fight. It’s like travelling in a time machine to before the pandemic!
