‘Never change’… Sean Strickland amuses fans with wild reaction to finding out The Rock is his boss

Sean Strickland continues to keep fans entertained with his antics on social media.

The outspoken former UFC middleweight champion is never afraid to offer his unique takes on the world.

However, Sean Strickland recently hesitated to criticize Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson after finding out the WWE legend is listed on the UFC Board of Directors.

Fans joked the UFC star, who recently received a six-month suspension for his part in a post-fight brawl, is a changed man after signing up for anger management classes.

Fans react to Sean Strickland’s comments on The Rock

On Tuesday, Strickland shared his reaction to finding out that The Rock is technically his boss.

The 34-year-old insulted Johnson while claiming he had stopped himself from doing so after learning about the Hollywood superstar’s role with the UFC.

“Oh man, I was about to make fun of Dwayne Johnson for being a potential lizard person sent [to] infiltrate and destroy America,” Strickland tweeted.

“But then I just googled it and he’s on the board of directors for the UFC..

“F— that was a close call…. :/”

He added: “Black Adam was a cinematic master piece…”

Fans in the comment section were amused by Strickland’s not-so-subtle swipe at Johnson.

“Never change, Sean,” one fan said. While another added: “Bro, you wild.”

“Looks like those anger management courses are paying off,” a third person replied.

“lol you still did it,” someone else pointed out.

“Good thing you didn’t post about it,” another X user laughed.

“Making fun of Dwayne without making fun of Dwayne. Sly work there, Sean,” a sixth fan said.

The Rock’s MMA movie

Johnson admits he was ‘really scared’ to transform into a UFC legend in his latest movie.

He’ll portray Mark Kerr in The Smashing Machine, which is set to be released on October 3.

Johnson told Vanity Fair: “It was very real. I had not experienced that in a very, very, very long time, where I was really scared and thinking, ‘I don’t know if I can do this. Can I do this?’”

“I realized that maybe these opportunities weren’t coming my way because I was too scared to explore this stuff… I was so hungry for an opportunity to do something raw and gritty and rip myself open,” he continued.
